Adam Goldman, Managing Director, Portfolio Manager
Prior to forming Red Rocks Capital in 2003 he was a General Partner and Managing Director in four separate venture funds with Centennial Ventures. Mr. Goldman has served on the boards of more than a dozen private companies and is a past President and Chairman of the Board of the Colorado Venture Capital Association. In addition, Mr. Goldman sat on the Governor’s Science and Technology Commission for the State of Colorado and is currently a board member of Energy Outreach Colorado. Mr. Goldman has a BA degree from Northwestern University and a MM from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He has over 30 years of investment experience in alternatives, public and private equity.
Mark Sunderhuse, Managing Director, Portfolio Manager
Prior to forming Red Rocks Capital in 2003 he was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Berger Financial Group (now Janus Capital Group). Prior to Berger, Mr. Sunderhuse co-founded Crestone Capital where he managed institutional small cap growth equity products and headed the investment committee at United Banks of Colorado (now Wells Fargo). Mr. Sunderhuse is a former governing board member of the Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado with assets in excess of $4 billion and sits on various other boards, including Energy Outreach Colorado. Mr. Sunderhuse has over 30 years of professional investment experience.
Andrew Drummond, Portfolio Manager
Prior to joining Red Rocks Capital in 2007, Mr. Drummond was a Portfolio Manager at Sargent, Bickham Lagudis in Boulder, Colorado. Previously, Mr. Drummond was an Equity Analyst for Berger Financial Group from 1999 through 2003 and an Analyst for Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association from 1996 to 1999. Mr. Drummond began his investment management career at The Boston Company Asset Management in 1992. Mr. Drummond has a B.S. from the University of Colorado and M.S. in finance from the University of Denver and over 20 years of industry experience.
Kirk McCown CFA*, Portfolio Manager
Prior to joining Red Rocks Capital in 2007, Mr. McCown was with Janus Capital and before that at Crestone Capital Management, where he was Founder and Chief Investment Officer. Previously, Mr. McCown served as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Reich & Tang in New York, Portfolio Manager for The St. Paul Companies and as a Trust Investment Officer for Norwest Bank in Omaha. Mr. McCown has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Nebraska. He has over 35 years of investment experience and is a CFA charter holder.
Wyck Brown CFA*, Portfolio Manager
Mr. Brown was named as a Portfolio Manager of Red Rocks Capital in 2017. Mr. Brown joined ALPS in 2014 and, prior to joining ALPS, Mr. Brown was a principal and senior portfolio manager at Braddock Financial for nearly twelve years, focusing on startups, private equity portfolio companies and fixed-income investments. Previously, for over nine years, Mr. Brown served as portfolio manager, trader, and analyst, while working for ING Investment Management as well as Great-West Life & Annuity Assurance Co. Mr. Brown received his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration – Information Systems from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a CFA charter holder and has over 20 years of industry experience.
Glenn Dreiling, Vice President, Operations
Prior to joining Red Rocks Capital in 2010, Mr. Dreiling was with Janus Capital for 17 years in a variety of positions in investment accounting, portfolio analytics,and investment operations, most recently as the Director of Portfolio Accounting. Mr. Dreiling has a BA in business administration from Colorado State University.
Richard Baker, CAIA, Vice President, Portfolio Strategy
Prior to joining Red Rocks in 2011, Mr. Baker held various marketing, product development, technology and sales leadership roles with software and technology services companies. Mr. Baker has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati and a MBA from the University of Washington and holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations.
Amy Trujillo-Marjerison, Operations Specialist/Analyst
Prior to joining Red Rocks Capital in 2016, Ms. Trujillo-Marjerison was a Client Services Administrator and Portfolio Accountant with Marsico Capital Management. Ms. Trujillo-Marjerison has a BS in Finance from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
